What the BBB Has to Say
What is the Better Business Bureau Rating (BBB Rating)?
The BBB has a variety of rating methods they use to rate a site. In some states, a simple grading system is used (A+ B- etc.). In other states, the company profile is given a "satisfactory" rating or an "unsatisfactory" rating.
A "satisfactory" rating means the site has had few or no complaints and they've resolved all of them to the customers' satisfaction.
An "unsatisfactory" rating means the site has received a few complaints and has not resolved them.
If a website has no BBB record, this could mean one of two things:
- It could mean the website service has been satisfactory and nobody has had the need to report them to the BBB
- Or, it could mean the site is still relatively new and untested.
If the Payday Loan site is listed as a "BBB Member," this means the website has voluntarily registered with the BBB and has agreed to abide by all of their standards and is in good standing with the BBB.
